William Hill Self-Exclusion
Pursuant to Iowa Code section 99.4(22), in the state of Iowa, customers may self-exclude from all forms of gambling including sports betting through the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission for a period of five (5) years or life if they feel at risk of developing gambling-related problems.
After receiving information from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, William Hill will place the excluded patron on the company’s Self-Exclusion list banning the requestor from its Iowa-based properties. This includes all properties that are opened or acquired after the date of the request.
A patron’s request also includes the exclusion of all William Hill privileges, including William Hill Reward Card benefits, play privileges, direct mail marketing, special promotions, offers, and events via push notifications, e-mail, and other means, including SMS messaging.
After a period of five (5) years from the date of acknowledgement of enrollment in the program, a patron may request reinstatement of privileges from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. If reinstatement is granted, the Commission will notify William Hill and the patron will be removed from the William Hill US Self Exclusion list.
In the event of indefinite self-exclusion, William Hill will ensure that the players are paid in full for their account balance within a reasonable time provided that the funds have cleared. This control does not supersede the requirements set forth in Iowa Code section 99F.4(22).
